Circle K board game

Task & Challenge
Our task sounded quite simple - to create a design for a board game. Hold on a moment. Repeat that. A board... game? We've never had a task like this before, but that's exactly why it became one of the most interesting projects we've recently implemented. Our client, Circle K, puts a lot of effort into making their employees feel like a cohesive team, where everyone can contribute to the company's results. One of the means to achieve this is a learning and team-building board game.
Solutions
Main thing to focus on was keeping it simple when it comes to complex things. That's the principle we followed in order to present the entire course of the board game in the simplest and most enjoyable way possible. We knew that it would only be used by a relatively narrow audience (Circle K employees), but we still wanted to make the game accessible. We incorporated a travel motif into the game, where we encounter challenging dilemmas that occur in the workplace and invite players to interactively seek solutions.
What’s Golden?
To enhance the game's appeal, we integrated a theme of exploration, where players encounter workplace challenges and actively seek solutions in a straightforward and enjoyable way. We even created special 3d playing figures to have a distinct look & feel.
